Happy Holidays!

Sometimes it is hard to believe that the year is almost over and so you will often find yourself asking, what have I done this year for myself, my loved ones, friends and neighbors. The year definitely flew by and before we know it the back-to-back Christmas parties, many shopping trips to the mall and Christmas itself are all over!  And so, it is always best to remind ourselves to slow it down a bit and to remember that this is the season of sharing and giving love to one another. So don't forget to hug those around you, be thankful for your blessing, and to give to the needy.  Merry Christmas everyone and may all the blessings be with you and your families!

Danielle + Al {College Park, MD}

I had the opportunity to witness Danielle and Al's wedding vows at the Riggs Alumni Center inside the University of Maryland campus.  It was such a perfect fall day in a perfect place for these two lovely couple!  They are the most fun and loving people you'll ever meet and it was such a great honor to document their wedding day.
I first met Danielle and Al at their engagement session only a few weeks prior to their wedding day.  Getting to know them then with lots of fun was just the beginning as it definitely continued to the big day photo shoot.

Danielle + Al | National Harbor, MD Engagement Session

When I first met Danielle, I felt very much at ease and comfortable because of her bubbly personality.  Then I met her fiancé Al who complimented Danielle's personality for a perfect couple! They both have a good sense of humor and are so much fun to be around with. It was so touching to find out that they are actually college sweethearts! They have been together for quite some time that their friends would constantly keep asking them when Al is ever going to propose to Danielle. When Al finally did propose to Danielle, it was still such a surprise to her, family and friends, but of course everyone was ecstatic for them. Danielle and Al are definitely meant for each other in every way and I was so happy to have met them and photograph their engagement session.

Courtney + DJ | Dickerson, MD Engagement Session

I met Courtney last year in one of my styled shoot sessions. She was the wedding coordinator who helped me make that shoot amazing and perfect. Little did I know that in due time that I would have the privilege to shoot her engagement. When she emailed me a couple of months ago about her engagement, I was extremely thrilled. I just love how the unexpected happens in life! Courtney and DJ are so sweet and very in-love with each other. DJ's huge proposal surprise was at the Big Apple and of course Courtney said YES! In a few months, they will exchange their vows in front of their friends and families. Courtney and DJ, thank you so much for the opportunity in being able to shoot this very memorable day of your lives.
